I beg to differ, Helm is a Lawful Neutral God, good and evil have no sway over law.
So as long as the Cleric acts within the confines of the LAW, helm would have no issue with the actions. If there can be followers of the God that are Lawful Evil, then one can argue that there can be Lawful Evil Clerics.

And, to disallow Lawful Evil Clerics is to limit the scope of RP, in my humble and aged opinion.

hah, atleast evil pcs can kill each other and fight with each other, but us good players (Atleast me) Are getting bored standing around with no PC major evil threat. But I think this is going out of topic...?

Got your point there, I personaly find the plots where difrent PCs plot against each others with maybe a DM in the background to help out with those things a player cant do as the funniest plots.

At the end of the day its all about the roleplay. If i meet a typically evil character then i kinda expect evil things from them thats the part about being evil!
Again where would the fun be if we all sat around tha camp fire and shared tea and biscuits? Good pc's need evil pc's to make there quests etc worthwhile and without good pc's what would the evil ones plot against?

RP is as real as you make it.

Don't come to us and make us enforce your thoughts, people hate it alot.

    Example:

Necropolis is dangerous. People shouldn't be hanging out there unless they want to die. We show people this, we get complaints and anger.

What does that make us do? Ease up on people.

    People want challenges:

Drow ran around kicking ass. What did people do? Complain. We took out drow.

Starting to see a pattern yet?

You guys come to us and say "This is too light", so make it harder on yourself. Don't make us do it. You can always perm your own chars if you want. You can always RP out res sickness. Why does the burden of enforcement have to rely solely on us?

Sorry, this is a can of worms for me because I enjoyed DM'ing the Drow alot and the player personalities involved with the Drow. People couldn't take them mixing into their RP.

If it was solely up to GBX, Sundren would be a miserable place, where if you left Sundren city, you'd be neck deep in the problems of the valley. Undead laying seige to the gates. Constant Orc assaults on the borders, etc etc.

People get out of it what they are willing to risk. Everyone wants positive and don't want to RP out the negative outcomes. We get help posts all the time "SO AND SO IS SLANDERING MY PC! IT'S ALL LIES!" Let's be real, what stops people from slandering you? Nothing. So what do you want us to do about it?

Wonder why some people don't get events? Cuz people can't take the possibility of loss. I can't run events where it might be uber difficult for a PC to finish because people will complain "OOOO! I'm not winning! This isn't fun!"

If you don't allow conflict, you will be bored, that's my 2 cents. So, have fun being bored I guess. Put quest system in? Fine. You'll finish them all and go back to square 1 as bored.

    And I'm out.
    *standing ovation*

That was one of the most beautiful things i've ever red in my entire life.

But seriously, cant do more then agree. . people need to be open for changes, their charakters might die one day. . hells. . its roleplay, and last I checked the server was under there. . if people want to play the same char without getting into anything that might be negative . .theres a bunch of Soacial servers out there.

Feel free to kill off any of my chars any day. . its a part of the game, aswell as I might die someday. . quite tired of the feeling when it feels like your charakter is imortal. . doesnt make anything intresting, as you know at the end of the day your charakter will still be alive. . how boring. .

Let us say I played a preist. . and someone who doesnt like my char nor the deity he follows start to spread alot of rumors about him that made him lose all his trust from the church and the followers, dont take those things personal and start to cry about it, see it as a greate chanse to acualy roleplay something out.

I saw this post and had to reply.

I liked the Drow and I wasn't playing one of them. Hell I was playing a priest of Shevarash. Drow make for great opponents, it's why I love 'em so much. I wouldn't mind playing one to be honest cause they are so damn much fun.

Ever since the Drow went I have been bored. GMs as great as they are don't have the time to GM foreveryone so you need a focal point something that gets everyone working together and talking... but I've been over this arguement before.

I want something to role play about and undead aren't nearly as interesting.

I mean you can only get so worked up about the latest Lich who wants to kill you all.
