Joining Legion

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the Legion is not joinable for me via the book in the Sundren City Library.

Could be due to my race (Elf) or class I guess...though I find it hard to imagine they can tell someone's class just by looking

The only available options are Corps de Grace, Blackwood and Exigo, one of which no longer exists and the other two are like the sworn enemies of most Rangers.

If it is indeed based on class I think it needs a bit of tweaking!

I don't think it is a bug, I think the options are limited because there are join quests in place for the other factions (e.g. legion). You could always RP with a current ranking member to get in or of course join the Black Hand. I am in need of a solid Elf Ranger!

LOL, well you'll have to find him first, and then convince him of the error of his goodly ways.

All depends on how good your Diplomacy skill is!

Edit: Oh, is there a join quest? I asked a Legionaire and they said they joined via the book. I couldn't find any join quest :/

Are you lawful? I think joining the Legion via the book might require lawful alignment, though this is only a guess as none of my characters have ever had Legion as a join option from the book. Coincidentally, none of them have ever been lawful, because blech. Laws.

Nope, I don't think Rangers can be Lawful. Damn, if that is the case I guess we're not allowed in the Legion. Again...how can they tell if you're Lawful or not?!

Wand of Detect alignment on every new recruit? Lol.

Though, to clarify, that is only my suspicion. And I think it's only the book method that checks your alignment. You can still theoretically get a high-ranking member/DM to join you (provided the RP makes sense!) regardless of your alignment I believe.

Rangers can be of any alignment as can all varieties of scoundrel

This Guy (Bram Drismon) Is of proper rank to join people into the legion. Just gonna have to catching him and Rp is all.
