I was thinking about the lack of opportunity that new players seem to have in finding people to level. If I schedule a Noob Night for players, would people be interested in joining and meeting new players?

Is it accurate to say that a character cannot earn more XP once they have accumulated enough to level, but have not yet taken a new level?
If that is true I can let my dwarf sit at level 10 indefinately to help out lower level characters (just poke me in game if you need a hand)...
