Missing 9th Level Spells

I may be jumping the gun as I haven't seen a server update notice for last night's updates, however, Dryn is now unable to cast any of his known 9th level spells. Specifically, his spells per day at 9th level seem to be stuck at 0.

With his base stats + Spellcasting Prodigy, Dryn should be able to cast these spells. I should note, that I usually have to rest right when I log in as NWN2 fails to take into account Spellcasting Prodigy until after a rest.

What changed: Spellcasting Prodigy or Spirit Shaman? Is rest now failing to take into account Spellcasting Prodigy properly?

This feat only simulates an increase in your ability scores - it does not actually increase them. A cleric with 14 Wisdom taking this feat will receive bonuses to spells and DC but will still be unable to cast level 5 or higher spells, for example.

If the spells were able to be cast before, then I'm assuming it was a change to Spirit Shaman, rather than the feat.

Aye, well, the feat worked before last night's update. As I said, just needed to rest on login.

I have items that also increase Dryn's Wisdom further, taking his Wisdom above the required minimums for ninth level casting.

Consistent with the changes to favored souls, Wisdom is no longer a spellcasting stat for spirit shaman. They use charisma for both DC and spell qualification. You no longer have to split stats between the two, and therefore can have DCs that matter without starving your other abilties.

A DM will help with any rebuilding you need.

Wait... Shaman's only use Cha now? Ah crap... now I need a rebuild, too... again. >.< Lol. Is this listed in the IG class description? I need to stop relying on that.

The wiki has been updated. Not sure about in game.

Wangxiuming tested it out and so far, it seems spirit shamans still need WIS to cast spells.

That was before the update though! It may have changed since then, i havent had the opportunity to test yet.

The changes were only introduced with the update, so best check again

Just tested it with 8 WIS. Can cast level 1 spells fine.

Looks like all systems are green.
