I'm always willing to divine block a ranger that wants to forgo spellcasting.

Spirit Shamans require a deity?

I had a "yeah rangers" moment with doubtful in a suggestion thread a week ago or so just about the deity requirement, and I read the post as diety requirement were lifted in general. Not to mention that spirit shamans just had an update! Lucky lucky bastards!
As for the divine block, I think that every time a ranger levels up and doesn't have a fitting diety, a selector will be prompted at level up. A lot of servers has opened up for the narrow selections, and as I've dabbled alot in 3.0 I see that requirement really silly. Not so for druids mind you. But thanks anyway

Yes. Sorry that I did not clarify. My post was only for the removal of Deity restrictions on Spirit Shamans. It was late and I was on my phone!
I could see a ranger worshiping Nature Spirits as a shaman does (which they can as per PnP) but otherwise their spells are only granted by nature deities. So I would only be in support of allowing no deity for rangers. That is a whole new thread, though."Now I know the full power of evil. It makes ugliness seem beautiful and goodness seem ugly and weak." -The Dance of Death

Erm... to go along with my previous question, is the current wiki for spirit shamans correct? They also only use CHA for spellcasting now?
Edit: Just tested by making a Spirit Shaman with 10 WIS. He could not cast any of his Level 1 spells, no matter how many times he rested, so I am assuming Spirit shamans still need WIS to cast ... I recommend the wiki change be reverted! I'd do it myself, but I'm afraid Lotus will smite me ... D=
