  • Armor Is Customizable?

Hey, this might seem like a noob question, but then that's because im a noob...
Anyways, Ive seen many characters with custom armor and such and I haven't seen any sort of way of actually crafting or a way to change appearance. When I asked some people, they said that you made it yourself and sent it to a dm? Is this done in the toolset or some other program? If this question or topic is already somewhere else, sorry, but I couldn't seem to find much on this topic. Thanks for your help.

Its done with the toolset, Sin plugin will make it easier, then you send the ERF to the DM. if you need any help on how to do it, I can explain it to yah.

Yes, though your character must pay for the customisation and any additional enhancements you place upon it, and believe me when I say that it costs alot.

The Neverwinter Nights 2 toolset, yes.

Huh? I dont think they allow additional enhancments or whatever, but making it look cool and stuff has always been free when I've gotten them, maybe a 100 gold coincharge, but i havent seen anything larger then that.

I could probably manage actually making it in the toolset, but seeing how bad I am at computers, I will most likely get confused afterwards.. lol, so any help or explanations is greatly appreciated

As far as gold goes, how much are we talking? If I dont currenly have it, It would give me something to save for.

http://www.sundren.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1435 The posts there are helpful, but look at Scarletts for mainly everything.. Oh, also, if you want custom armor, your gonna have to trade in your old one for a new one, you don't get free armor.

                this is sin plugin http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view...s.Detail&id=12

its really helpful with the item creation, and i think it helps with more stuff then just items. There are more plugins for items, but im not sure how to use em.

Ive succeeded in customizing the appearance of my armor to my liking and all the stats are exactly that of the current gear I have. How much will it cost me to how this applied? Also, how do I send this to a Dm? I'm a little lost when it comes to sending things... Thanks for your help

Right, The DM's usually do it for free, but If yah bug them then they'll usually charge you, so you gotta be patient. To send it to the dm, you gotta go to import, or export, not sure which, go to item blueprints, click on the one you wanted, then save it as a file onto your computer. Then you get the email of one of the dm's, attach it as a file, send it to them, and then They'll give it to yah when they get around to it.

And put in the email where in the blue prints you added the armor, otherwise we gotta dig through tons of items to find it.

Hmm, it's been a good 40 minutes since my last noob question, you guys must be anxious , anyways there doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach files when sending an email to a Dm via the email field on this site. Will the armor file I'm trying to send reach where it's gotta go if I just send it to the webmaster, which is the only place that im able to find an e-mail where I can attach things

I was wondering what took you so long.
Sorry, I do not have an answer for you. I am due to get some new armor so maybe I should figure out this whole process.
