Looks like schild_Mountains.trx is getting a verification error. Can anyone confirm this, or is it just me? Can't load into the awesome otherwise!

Well, it doesn't look like it verifies any better the fourth and fifth times, either, so I'll go work on James' Surprise so I can hopefully play him before the end of the week. Leme know if the .TRX gets any less anonymous.

I've tried to patch four times. The 1st time I got that schild error message and it crashed. Now it gets about 95% of the way done checking my old files then crashes so hard I have to reboot my computer. So...guess I'll try again tomorrow.I can't slow down, I can't hold back though you know I wish I could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good!Comment

Strano. If you get a patching problem then nip into your nwn2 directory and delete the offending file before trying again. That can sometimes help.
I'm unsure what's caused the issue as the file in question has been functioning fine, I'll blame Microsoft.It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.

Well now whenever I go to patch, the bar gets about 90% of the way through checking files, then seizes up hardcore. Music keeps playing and I can move my cursor, but nothing responds. If I wait long enough I get a disconnected error and can reclaim my PC, but God help me if I try to C+A+D or force close...my computer goes berserk. I have now tried deleting Sundren files, deleting/reinstalling the game, and voodoo. Anyone have other suggestions because it's looking like my PC has declared war on NWN2 at the moment.I can't slow down, I can't hold back though you know I wish I could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good!Comment

I was going to suggest it might be something corrupt in the NWN2 directory, but if you've uninstalled and removed all the junk from the /MyDocuments folder then reinstalled then I'm at a loss! Sorry

Deleting the NWN2 in My Documents fixed it. The first time I only deleted the game folder. I have a weird thing where I try to keep all my games on my external HD since my main is an SSD and I don't want to wear it out with rewriting save game stuff all the time. So I forgot that there are 2 folders I have to clear. I should probably have backed up my single player games, but meh, problem solved.I can't slow down, I can't hold back though you know I wish I could. No there ain't no rest for the wicked until we close our eyes for good!Comment
