    Hey folks,

You may have noticed me not being around for a week or so. Or you may not have!

The point being, this internship I have is taking up my time from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. most days, and when I do get home, it's all I can do to go to the gym, much less DM. For this reason, as well as a few others having to do with the server population, I will no longer be DM'ing.

So, I'll be leaving the staff. I'll be around as a player from time to time, but I'll no longer be available to DM. For this, I apologize. I know a lot of players depend on plots I've ran, but the last few months on the server have been disheartening to say in the least. And after a certain point, I have to ask if what I'm doing is making an overall difference for the server. And I don't think it is. For those of you who I have helped, I want you to know that I enjoyed every second of helping your PC. For those of you who were in the middle of plots with me, I apologize deeply. No DM should have to cut a campaign for any reason besides serious bodily injury or death.

I've always been of the school of thought that DM'ing is a responsibility to the players and team, and not something to do when it's only fun or convenient. And I am ashamed that I have to quit under such conditions, in part. I can only hope that I run into some of you on some other game one day.

    All the best,

    Grinning Death

It's sad to see you go, GD. However, RL does take precedence.
      Cheers,

*begins balling* I'll miss you, man! I'm sad to see you hang up your guns, but the reality is that real life comes before us. I'm certain our paths shall cross again, somewhere in time.
We can axe if we want to, leave that sword behind. Because your friends don't axe, and if they don't axe then they're no friends of mine.

I don't think anybody will have hard feelings over you leaving mate. Good luck with everything! Thanks for all the little favours, tips and RP hooks over the years. Incredibly appreciated! *thumbs up*

Yes, I realise my RP writing sucks. Just be thankful I keep it short

Thanks for everything, GD. Hopefully we'll run into each other some other time/game!
But please, keep one thing in mind for me. What have you become when even nightmares fear you?

You were a talented DM and a equally provocative player. At least play a character now and then.

Sorry to see you go GD, you're an outstanding DM and an inspiration player.

RL comes first though, so don't feel bad about doing the right thing. Hope to see you around as a player occasionally!

                Good luck with everything

I agree with everything the players above have said. You will be sorely missed. Hope things go well, and hope to see you around from time to time.

I only logged in to tell you that you were one of better things to happen to Sundren, and it will be left even emptier for your absence. Polt has big shoes to fill.
