    Loot-table question...

    Got a question regarding the loot table..

    I have been on the server for close to 2 months now, and I have yet to find the following weapons dropped by any monster...

    *Katana
    *Falchion
    *Possibly others..dwarven waraxe possibly.

    So I wonder if these weapons are left out on purpose or not..or is it just me that is damn unlucky? Thing is..I have made a fighter/wM (lvl 9) and I would have fubared the character pretty much if I can't get any other weapon than the katana +1 I have. Especially seeing weapons being dropped that I rate much higher.

    Didn't check such things before I made up the character. Possibly a mistake that then Then again..the katana makes perfect sense for my character...

    Probably just unlucky. I've seen Dwarven Waraxes before, but GodBeastX can answer this better.

      Huh... pretty astute of you. I apparently forgot to add the Katana's and Falchions to the table ^_^ I'll fix this tonight. Good testing.

          I found (or did I buy?) a resonable waraxe, +1AB +1 acid dam.

          But I have never seen a magical warhammer, are they in the drops?

            I have also yet to find monk gloves on any monsters. I'm not sure if that is for RP reasons or it was left out also. Thought I'd throw that in there.

              I have on one of my characters a green 'Screaming Fist of Minor Will'. It has a +1 ab +1 sonic damage and +1 will save, I believe. Therefore, monk glove drops are possible, but as rare as magical dwarven waraxes/warhammers/morning stars/other less-used items. The loot tables are geared towards the main swords, bows, crossbows, slings, and armors it seems. :P

                Actually, Loot tables aren't "Geared" for weapons. When a weapon drops, it picks one out of the list. The list is every weapon type possible. I can tweak rates, but they all have exact same rate right now, even monk gloves. So to get the weapon you want it's:

                1 out of # of weapon types

                Best guess is there's 20 or more.

                        Helms and Belts are not in. I wasn't sure if I was going to give them a separate list of properties or just toss them on the armor table... rough call.

                          Can you perhaps make them armour for now and later when you have the time change it? No idea how much work this is for you guys really, but would be fun with helmets and belts *rubs hands greedily*

                            You should add a funny attribute for each weapon, like.. Belt of Buckling, Buckle +1

                              Monk gloves are out there. I have two that I'm using on Alaric.

                              Zapping Fists of Minor Fortitude and Holy Fists of Lesser Will.

                              Both are excellent!
