Don't leave valuables in the Avanthyr Branch of the Waukeen bank. That room with the two chests opposite each other, one of which is locked? Those chests don't work. Anyone can take the items you put in there.

For instance, I just took a Star Sapphire somebody left so that no one would steal it. Whoever left it post here or PM me to get it back - my characters are Fregrin Ross and Davey Brinnerstaal.

Edit - Turns out the Safe Deposit Boxes in the Thayan Enclave in Aquor actually do work, so use those.

The chests you're talking about, I think, aren't meant to be personal storage. There's a room with three chests, each in separate miniature rooms that hold a character's items like in an inn chest.

On the top or bottom floor? I'm looking now, can't seem to find it. You might be thinking of the bank in the city, I'm talking about the one in Port Avanthyr.
