I've been wondering for a while as to the extent of the 'Dead Magic' property of the Abbadon. It's pretty clear that the Weave is disrupted, but as per FR lore, there are more than one way of using magic: primarily Divine Power and the Shadow Weave.
Per in-game mechanics, anything based off a spell fails to function in the Dead Magic areas, but stuff like Turning attempts work fine. I'm curious if this is an indicator that deific power-projection bypasses the fact that it is a hole in the Weave, and thus potentially not as 'dead' as one would think, or potentially just overlooked.
Secondly, although only a lore-inquiry as it likely cannot easily be applied, is the Shadow-Weave still intact in that area (As all the Shadar-Kai seem to think, with their constantly fizzled spellcasting)? If so, what sort of means (likely only during events, but who knows) could be used to tap it?
On a second inquiry, does the Silent Image line of spells exist in Sundren, from an RP perspective?
If this has already been discussed somewhere I appologise, as I could not find any threads on the topic.
