It's been a while but I think we had more than 6 per party when we raided the banite citidel to save Amilynn from Clive couldnt tell you the exact number (I sincerely regret not taking screenshots)

If you're referring to the max number of people in a party before Sundren specific scripts will begin reducing xp rewards from kills, 6 is the maximum number.

If you're referring to the max number of people the engine can handle, I've not yet hit that limit.

So 6 is optimal...but if I really need 7 or 8 people to get the job done, its possible. Nice!

XP loss is no issue, so long as its not like -50% or something silly.

I think the maximum in the OC is 6 (including yourself), if you have the leadership feat. It would be really wierd if having that feat in multiplayer allowed for larger PVE parties.

I seem to remember GBX modifying the party xp scripts so I'm not sure loss from group size is still a problem.

I can't remember the exact limit, but I do remember that things such as summoned creatures start getting a little.screwy in groups above 8-9 people.

I was pretty sure 5 was the limit for maximizing XP gains.

I know it says 4+, but I think parties cease to get the bonus after 5.

So...going by GBX's description if I'm in a party of 7 and the highest level guy is 18th, our effective attacker level would be 24, meaning we would get about 3xp (+100% bonus for a total 6xp) for 20th level enemies huh? That can't be right surely....

It isn't. the Previous XP-capping system is ALSO in place, so there is a set XP decrease for every additional party member over 5, but calculated with the bonus from having 4 or more people in a party.

                            so basically
                            If(party>5)
                            then XP = (base XP * (2 - (X * (party - 5)))
[where X is whatever that static XP drop is]

I think. . . GBX or Cornuto can correct me if I'm wrong
