I am nearly finished with the 4th Markus Heitz' book, "The Fate of the Dwarves." I asked via the forum for someone to recommend a good book(s) about Dwarven lore. I was referred to Heitz. Thank you. I enjoyed the first three and would recommend the series to anyone. I should be finished the fourth and last book in another day or two.
I wanted to post here about the way Heitz controls the use of magic. As someone who plays a Divine Caster, I like that Heitz makes Magi extremely powerful. They can turn the tide of battle all by themselves.
...but at the same time, Heitz makes the source of all magical power a precious commodity that is only found in a couple of places. Magi must bath in the source to regain their powers. Something for the developers to consider in the future.
Cheers!
