  • Thanks Sundren

To the players: Thanks for some great RP. For the most part my experience on this server has been one of solid RP with diverse characters. I'm just skimming the surface of in-character intrigue and plots, but I can tell that it's only going to get better and more indepth.

To the DM team: I play only about 8-10 hours a week and have only been here a few weeks, but I've already been part of 3 DM mini-quests/encouters, and have had DM's throw curveballs at me or a party while we were running a dungeon. Both of these add SO MUCH to the experience. I hope it can be kept up!

Anyhow, from my experience in NWN1 PW's I know that sometimes you just need to hear thank you. So thanks for all the freetime you've spent developing a pretty and involved world for us to play in.

And that consideration is much appreciated, it makes it all worthwhile.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

You guys really have no idea how much you are appreciated sometimes. I spend all day at work trolling the forums to make sure I don't miss some big event; my girlfriend sends me IMs the moment that she enters a DM event or runs into a situation IC that makes her day. We're contemplating getting a second computer and another copy of NWN2, just to play Sundren together. I think you guys are on to something, personally.

          ----

The DMs are not only good at making good, fun, and sometimes strange events- they are also good people that I enjoy roleplaying, and sometimes just talking with. The locations are beautifully designed, as far as the eye can see, and this quality persists even beyond the accessable locations. The actual gameplay, with the laws and concerns of the land, are great (though sometimes players don't seem to know what's going on, like how tolerated drow, tieflings, and warlocks are/were :P). Hell, once Obsidian figures out and fixes the HEAVY crash problems on start-up and transition, I know both me and Nyssis are going to try getting -much- more involved with the server on a large scope.

In short, Sundren ftw. You guys omgwtfpwn.

Reinamar Stormseeker - The bladestorm that must turn back the wind. Arkerym of The People, practitioner of the forgotten art, pariah.

Tyler Penleigh - Obligatory author insert, Red Blade Defender, sarcastic jerk, caring brother, loving fiancé, war criminal.

          Retired/Dead
Eirimil Gaelazair (Dead)- Bitter. Caustic. Abrasive. Egocentric. Probably right. Found dead in the burned-out Viridale forest a few weeks after the survivors were able to sweep the area after the Bloodmaim offensive. Aside from his usual attire, an intricate music box was the only thing in his possession.

I havent had the pleasure of participating in a DM led event yet. Typically when are they run and for what levels?

I am a newbie......I mean like minutes old and usually I have seen, on other PWs, the DM event is run for levels 10 and above.

I play evenings on CST and mornings on the weekend....is there a usual time and place that I need to be aware of?

            thanks

Well I can only answer from a players standpoint but will try my best...

              1. DM events are are run all the time at different hours. I have been on a few and the DM's here are very dedicated and great story tellers.

              2. Events are not dedicated to certain levels. Level 10? I been here for over two months and I am still not level 10...but close

I would also like add my thanks to the staff and the players of Sundren, both are the bests around

Haven't logged on yet, but a thankyou from me just for accepting me despite the fact that my character submission was less than inspired. here's hoping that Jalus can grow in Sundren, and from what I read here it's a lot of fun.

What would I do without Sundren? This last month has been bearable thanks to you guys providing a fabulous escape from my reality. I can't wait until I have a little extra cash to donate. It will be money well spent!
