Obviously we have a plethora of updates we need to get ready for release, but a few things that were bothering me that I got out of the way.

First, no more minimap hiders on maps. I think I got them all, but that crap is just plain annoying. I don't care if it's realistic for people to get lost in a dungeon or what not. As much as I enjoy realistic RP I'd rather sacrifice realism for enjoyment, and black maps are not enjoyable.

Also benches in second wind will be indestructible. Niggas gotta sit and shit!

I might fit other stuff in based on bugs and other requests.

*Thumbs up* Its one thing if its hindering the character, its another if its hindering the person at the keyboard.

Finally figured out the problem with the ghosts in the lowbie crypt and they have been severely fixed. No more magic weapon required to harm them and concealment % dropped.

Change to experience gains after playtesting for the past couple days. Changed how party reward works.

1 player gets flat exp for a kill
2 players get 20% extra exp
3 players get 50% extra exp
4+ players get 100% extra exp

The reason for this change is players are rarely exactly the same level, so the lower members tend to take a hit for gains due to this. To compensate for including others there is significant bonus involved. After all, we want to REWARD people working together, not punish with less reward.

YAY! no more being penalized for having 7 people in a party!

I hope there is code in now to check for partying across zones. I think there was an exploit for this before. But other than that:

Yeah my only concern is that it'll be exploited.

Maybe add some penalty when level difference is too high? Lets say there is more than 6 lvls difference?

I thought there was already a cap on level difference for XP. Am I incorrect?

I think you guys misunderstood what I changed XD

Essentially how it works is this:

First, we gather up the player count in party. We then get max and min levels of the party.

Creature exp is based on level of attacker vs level of creature. So if creature is level 5 and killer is level 5, it'll be like 50. If attacker is 6 and creature is 5 it's like 20. If creature is 6 and killer is 5, it's like 64. Okay?

The attacker level starts at the level of the highest party member.

For every person over 4 count you add 2 levels to the effective attacker level. If the level difference between highest and lowest is too high you start adding effective levels too.

What THIS change is, if you have 2 people in party then you get the base exp (like 40) plus 20% more of the 40. If you have 3 people you get 50% more. If you have 4 people you get 100% more. 5 people 100% more.

This change doesn't modify the base exp, just how the bonus is recieved. Previously it was 30% more exp for 3+ people, so I basically let 2 people in a party get a small bonus and everyone else gets more.

This is indeed well thought imho. Could such mechanics be summed up somewhere on wiki to prevent further confusion?

I'll summarize it after we add the creature tiers we've been planning out for awhile.
