Use of Rooms

In preparation that I'm actually able to find a room to rent, I have questions, mostly about how the permanent storage works.

1) Rent is weekly. Is this in-game weekly or real-time weekly?
2) If you have items stored and miss a rent payment, what happens to them?
3) If you rent a different room, ie move to a cheaper one, do you have to move your stored things?
4) I'm not sure I've actually located all the places with rooms. I've found the Sundren Comfort, the 4 Lanterns,the Second Wind and the Mariner. Most of the other inns and taverns I've tried don't have rooms. Am I missing any?

Your chest is persistent across all inn rooms that you rent and it's saved by the server. Unless you delete your character or get a name change (not 100% sure about this), your chest will keep all of your junk regardless of where you stay or go.

Thanks, Nyssis and Standur. Just to be clear, then, the key grants you access to the room and who you are grants you access to the chest. And if I go away for 3 weeks with no game access (coming up in May) my stuff will still be in the chest when I get back and pay rent again.

Yes you will not lose items in a chest if you can't rent that room anymore, you just lose the ability to access them, but even if you had a friend renting a room you would see your items if you opened the chest.
