My new computer's here, up and running NWN2 (mostly) the way I want. Tery's back!! I should be more or less on my usual schedule now.
What a difference the new machine makes!!! Transitions are lightning-fast compared to before and many of the other difficulties like lag, jerky animations and so on have gone away.
I still have a lot of program installation, data transfer and such to do, but most of the important stuff is working. And, of course, I will be learning a lot about new ways of doing things, especially with Win7.
