Anyone know how the bonuses are calculated in NWN2? In PnP its +1 for every five levels of ranger but alot of thing dont work like they do in PnP in NWN2.

Im pretty sure it wouldn't be character levels but either ranger levels or the amount of favoured enemies you have (i.e. 1 = +1, 2 = +2 e.t.c.)
    Thanks

At 1st level, a ranger may select a type of creature as his favored enemy. The ranger gains a +1 bonus on bluff, listen, spot, and taunt checks, and also a +1 bonus on weapon damage rolls against their favored enemy. At 5th level and every five levels after that, the ranger can choose an additional favored enemy and gains +1 to all favored enemy bonuses.

    I copied this from http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Favored_Enemy

If you take out all the irrelevant stuff

    Ranger Lvls
    +1 at 5, 10, 15, and 20
which strangly enough coinsides when you pick a new favored enemy

I was thinking about classes that add new favoured enemies without advancing in ranger (nwn1 harper scout & sundren's own darkwood stalker).
Its easy to obtain more than five favoured enemies by level 15 with the right class combinations - Does this mean each of them takes +5 damage or just an amount depending on how many ranger levels you have?

        Gotcha.

Assuming the nwn2 wiki is giving correct information it bases the bonuses off ranger lvls

Taking that in to consideration and reading the desc. in Sundren's wiki for Darkwood Stalker I would say that if you went 10/10 with the build (Ranger/Stalker) you would get +3 to all your favored enemies

since the desc. in Sundren's wiki mentions nothing about stacking with ranger lvls for DS

Pretty nuts considering you would have 3 FE from ranger and then the huge list from DS
