What happened to the server?

Back when I used to play earlier this year, the server was quite populous...I'm just wondering, what exactly happened to it? Now I only see six or so people around.

Fake answer: I was absent for a time, so obviously the server population dropped when I wasn't available!

Plausible answer: several other servers came into prominence this year, and then summertime arrived and saw people going on vacations and otherwise spending time outdoors. Now that school is about to start and people are getting 'settled' again, I fully expect more players.

I've been seeing the numbers sit in the upper teens the last few weeks, and even once saw us spike into the 20's, so we're picking back up. Sundren ALWAYS goes in waves, it's the nature of it. Don't get freaked out when you see the numbers plummet, because they always go back up every time.
