Philosopher by Request
My time as been unfortunately small lately, therefore to better help out players I will now DM by request.
Have an idea? An npc you'd like to talk to? A plan that might require DM involvement? Send me a PM (do not post your ideas here) and I'll see if I can help you get your idea done. There are a few stipulations to these requests, however.
1) I will not get to everyone. Sometimes my time will be limited. Sometimes we won't see each other online. Sometimes I simply might get too many requests for attention. Sometimes your request will not be possible. I'll do my best to explain each situation should your request not be possible.
2) The more players involved in your request, the better chance I will pick it up. I don't mind doing some nice one on one events, but I prefer to do events where multiple people (ideally between 2-5) are involved and can enjoy themselves. Events with multiple players involved will catch my attention quicker than single player requests, though I will try to get to those too, if they are feasible.
3) Do not request me for minor things, such as fixes, renames, or other OOC issues. I will only take requests with RP merit and interaction. If you have a problem, make a help or character request on that forum. Do not PM me personally with problems.
4) Be as specific in your request as you can. Tell me everything you want to do, who you want to talk to, and what the ideal outcome would be for such an idea. I may change things to suit my own tastes, but any information you can tell me about your idea will better help me prepare for it. Don't tell me "I want to talk to Melchior." Tell me what you want and why, and what you are hoping to achieve.
5) Smaller ideas will take a slight precedence. This is merely because big ideas can take a lot of planning and time, which I may or may not have. I prefer big ideas, but sometimes they just aren't possible. Small ideas are easier to plot and execute and thus, will take a slight precedence on my priority list. I'll do big ideas when I can, so feel free to shoot those over too, just don't expect instant response.
6) Be patient. My time is currently limited. Some ideas will take time to work on. I'll do my best to get to any good idea. If I cannot do your idea, I'll try to let you know so you aren't waiting with no response.
7) Give me a rough estimate of your play time. I'm a PST DM, so PST afternoons are the core of my focus, sometimes PST nights as well. Giving me a time will make it easier to plan to meet up with you and run the idea.

*Requesting to collect something from the environment. (flowers from the forest, demon skin from Argyle, snow from the Plateau of Cold breath, ect. Again, tell me what, where, when and why.)
*Requesting to do something to/for one of the factions. (Who, what, where, when, why, and how.)
Of course, feel free to send requests for other ideas that don't fit the examples above.
