Alright so I've got a character on whom I'm looking to buy new armor for (eventually) and I'm looking at the Refurbished Everwatch armor (or whatever its pointlessly long title is) or the Plate of the Earth Children one both available from foulbreath in port Avanthyr. The catch is I don't want my character running around looking like a fruity d-bag because his armor looks stupid on him - because aesthetics are important and frankly if you're going to be wearing an iron coffin you might as well look cool doing it.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures, or can get pictures of the armors via screen shots of their chars wearing them currently? I'd like to see how they look, at least a rough idea for the colours involved.

I know how all the light armours look! Light armour by Konchuu.

No idea about the tin cans since I've never really played a character with a dex under 16 :S

I'd wager that if it's Children of the Earth style armour, then this is it.

      Or maybe tie-dyed.

Your image doesn't seem to be showing up for me, Doubt.

I've had this problem (with the Refurbished Knight armour) for around a year. I hate the appearance of it so much I wear it only when I'm the only person online and trying to solo the Ogres (usually die anyway).

I always got told it was restricted to RPoTM. Sucks, but meh. Result is I'm level 14 with basic Fullplate (that looks badass, mind you)

Whilst I can imagine the armour looks cool on a Lawful Male Helmite, on a half-orc female barbarian, not so much.

Fortunately lugging around 50lbs of plate isn't much of a hassle for me. :3

Would be nice if we could Character Request maybe one bit of armour per player every so often, but eh. Could always wait for the new crafting system.

Armor can be feasibly created, customized, and enchanted within the current crafting system.

If you happen to have access to an armour creator, customiser, and enchanter, in the same time zone as you, with IC reason to aid you, the resources to do so, with similar play hours, and no Fatigue overload.

An NPC able to help with crafting for, say, a higher price than most PC's would charge, might be helpful for those of us not so lucky.

If only there was some way to find said crafters and enchanters.

I just purchased this armor from a person in game. I really regret it now because it looks so bad.
                  Cheers!

I didn't know you could customize the appearance of items. How?

I'll add that Bracers of armor openly avaialnble from the viridale merchant dude in the trade district have a +1 armor bonus and are a cheap 1K. It's a nice alternative to running around in that brown ugmo +1 furplate you get off the gnoll chief. Most of my fighters are sporting a pair now, they're invaluable for keeping your coolness factor.

That armor you are talking about, the knight armor, is expensive and doesn't look very good. For a male, it looks like you have man-boobs. So, you have to wear a bro or a mansier for it to look right

It would be great if you had the option to try the armor or hat or whatever before you had to buy it. I bought this great what I thought was a hat, with great attributes, but it is this stupid looking kabuki thing......costs me an arm and a leg, plus one testicle, so I don't want to sell it back for 1500gp and only wear it in combat.

                        Just a thought...

Is it the Kabuki Theater Hat?

Yes, its the Kabuki Theatre hat. I didn't think it would look like a red fan. It looks like a hat when you click on it.
