  • Summon Creature

Not sure whether this should be in general or suggestions but some of the summon creatures are worse than their lower level counterparts!

for example the lawful evil summon at 1st circle is a Dire rat ~ very nice, decent ab, has smite good and a disease melee attack! 2nd circle has a firey water elemental with 10 on all stats, same AC, No feats at all (not even a creature weapon!) and inferior base damage.
Im assuming this is just an oversight for that specific alignment.

    Thanks

Cast each one a few times and experiment. Last time my Druid tries summons spells, I was getting randomly different creatures even when casting the same spell... Summon creature 2 for instance.

Perhaps you randomly got the toughest of the lvl 1's and the weakest of the lvl 2's.

Anyone else get different summons for the same summons spell? This just a druid thing?

Just a druid thing I think. I posted this on the summons feedback a few months back when I was getting a 6hp pixie at Summon animal XIII
