I'd simply amend the subject to say, "Unofficial." While the community may embrace most of the above, it's important to distinguish that from what the staff embraces - and ultimately holds players accountable for.
1. When taking a role-play action that could be contested, allow other players the opportunity to contest it.
Not quite sure what you mean by "contest".

5. If you mean to ignore someone, ignore him/her through an emote instead of complete inaction. Nonverbal role play goes a long way toward inclusion.
When I was relatively new, I was ignored for a long time on a couple of occasions and it was very upsetting. I'm absolutely sure now that it was inadvertent and there were large groups present with several things happening simultaneously. Nevertheless ...
I agree wholeheartedly with item 5. I would also add "Try to respond to every greeting from another player (especially newer ones) even if it is to say "*ignores the greeting*." In the above examples, I tried to greet and initiate conversations with several of those present with no responses.

6a. Write a character description. It helps other players interact with you based on physical traits and fleshes out your character.
6b. Read character descriptions. They help you interact with other players based on physical traits and clues contained therein.
Heartily support this one too. I'd suggest adding "Update your description every so often." *drops head in shame and resolves to do just that soon*
Your online dictionary doesn't clarify much, Lothoir
What was meant in the original post was that when taking an action that might cause another player to want to react to it or oppose it in some way, you should give those other players the opportunity to do so.
For instance, if you try to bluff someone, you need to give them a chance to roll an opposed sense motive check. Or if you are trying to escape from close quarters, you need to give others the opportunity to grapple or trip you or whatever else they might be able to do to stop you. Just running away in such a situation is abusing the limitations of the medium NWN2 provides.
I think this is a good effort; however, not sure what it will really do. We have had these lists before, but there will always be those that don't care and do their own thing.
Saying that, thanks for the effort and I hope all or most abide by these non-sanctioned rules.
I would like to reiterate Manu's statement about letting you play your character. Too many times when I play my Elves, people look at me like I am crazy or a racist or something, because I play Elves (what I think is the traditional way). They can be arrogant and they typically hate all halfbreeds (half elves, half orcs....).
I will not ignore them, I will roleplay with them or simply emote that I ignore them and leave.
So, please, let people play their characters, class, or race and not judge them, just roll with the RP. And if you do play different races, please read a bit about them and their mannerisms, mores, thoughts, and speech that they use. I think it adds to your RP and doesn't necessarily put you in a box.
