  • Wilderness Roleplaying

My current character is a ranger and a furrier; while comfortable in the city, she does feel more at home trekking through the wild lands and places of the world.

I've noticed that the two forests on the Sundren world map both: A., have a large town or fort in the first area, and B. give me the pop-up warning about being too high-level for me.

This is well and good, but I was looking for a wilderness area in which I could roleplay without getting eaten alive as a level 4 ranger. Something as simple as a forest road or clearing in the trees. I'm new to playing on Sundren, so I may not have simply found a suitable place yet.

    Any suggestions?

And maybe a happy druid/ranger character will guide you to the Druid Glade in the Viridale.

I'll press on past the fort then, thanks! Was just worried anything past the fort would mean a quick and violent death; some severs have hard and sudden lines between "safe roleplaying area" and "monster-filled deathtrap area".

The forest area just after the military camp is generally a very safe RP forest area, and is used in this way quite often by the more nature-inclined PC's. Just avoid the area across western river-bridge, as a few gnolls can sometimes spawn there near the transition to the Mossclaw Meet.

There's a druid faction area in the Viridale you can get to without fighting. Keep to the left after you enter the forest proper and you should find it with little fuss.
Running across the mountains, attacking with an oversized scalpel, cometh Helga Great-Wyrm! And she gives a mighty bellow:
"Brace yourself, oh human speck of dust! You are made of meat and I am very hungry!"
