  • Help me with this list

    I am trying to get a complete list of the modified spells so I can add them into the wiki...Spell gold costs has already been done so we can skip that...also I need to know 'how' it was modded...also I would like to notate the ones that arent successfully extendable due to the game makers failure at adding content..I'll mark those with OF for Obsidion Fail

    Wizard: Pro Evil/Good, Mage Armor, Shield, IMA, Nightshield, Shadow Conj MA

    Bard: Shadow Conj MA

    Cleric: Pro Evil/Good, Magic Vestiment, Living Undeath (OF)
    , Anamalistic Power (OF)

    Druid: Anamalistic Power (OF)

    I'll flush out this list as I remember/encounter more but please feel obligated to help me out :P

    A special note on metamagic for SoZ spells: they will appear under the correct extendable entry, but an extended version will only last as long as normal.

    This has only been tested by me in regards to Living Undeath and Animalistic Power. Both suffer from this bug.

      I don't know if you included improved mage armor, under mage armor. But it lasts 1min per level and gives +2 to armor, deflection, dodge, natural AC's.

          I can't really think of anything off the top of my head that has been modified for bards. Shadow Conjuration: Mage Armor is affected, but that already falls under what has previously been listed.

          I won't be IG until later, but I can take a look at the other bard spells and see if there is anything to add if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

            Bump. I'm giving this till monday to give the weekenders a chance to look it over then I'm going to update the wiki...probably by hijacking the spell costs section as I'm lazy and it should all be lumped together...


            Also if anyone knows what the spell durations are cut down to...

            I'm just going to go with half duration if no-one recalls/knows

              Oh, a note in Improved Mage Armor. If the script is still the same that it was a while back, all bonuses increase to +3 at caster level 17.

              While the intent was to nerf it with duration and armor reduction, it's actually more useful at high, high levels. Nummy Dodge AC.

                I've never noticed an increase to armor at higher levels.

                IMA is 1 min/level, spread out over natural, armor, deflection and dodge I think.
                Shield is 30 secs/level (i think) but capped to a max duration or something, I'll take a look when I get the time.
                GBX documented the changes to Prot alignment just a few weeks ago in the news section.
                Mage armor is still 1 hour/level but the 4 points are spread out as is with Imp MA.
                I am death, come for thee. Surrender, and thy passage shall be... quicker.

                  Hey look its been a year since someone tried to help out with this, anyway this is what I have so far (list here so someone can correct me before I edit the wiki.) (And not I think its this, I need I know its this through tests I've done answers)

                  MA:
                  AC spread evenly over Armor, Deflection, Natural, and Dodge AC's
                  at +1 each

                  Protection from Alignment:
                  Spell Immunity (need to know what this line is for)
                  Immunity Charm
                  Immunity Dominate (does not protect from domination)
                  Immunity Confuse
                  Immunity Sleep
                  (would like someone to help me test each of those or confirmation)
                  AC Deflection +2 (against Alignment)
                  Saving Throws +2 (against Alignment)

                  Stonebody:
                  No change from an effects standpoint however FOM nullifies the spell
                  if cast before stonebody
                  Gold Cost

                  Death Ward:
                  No longer prevents ability score dmg/penalties
                  No longer protection against Saulus (I mean Implosion)

                  Shadow Shield:
                  No Longer Proc from Implosion
                  (note: the dr is Adamantine and not Magic as stated in spell desc
                  (nwn2 wiki))

                  Implosion:
                  +3 bonus to DC removed

                  IMA:
                  Duration confirmation please?
                  AC is spread over same four AC's as MA
                  +2 each at first then +3 each at lvl 17

                  Heal/Harm:
                  150gp

                  Living Undeath:
                  Removed from Game

                  Stoneskin:
                  Gold Cost 25gp

                  Greater Stoneskin:
                  Gold Cost 50gp

                  Premonition:
                  Gold Cost 75gp

                  9th lvl spells all have a gold cost 150gp gold cost (except shapechange)

                  Magic Vestment:
                  Scaling set to every 4 CL's
                  Capped at +4 instead of +5
                  Duration lowered (exact duration, extend spells effect on duration?)

                  Shield of Faith:
                  Scailing set to every 4 CL's
                  Capped at +4
                  Duration Lowered (exact?, effect of extend spell?)

                  Shield:
                  Duration Lowered (exact?, effect of extend spell?)
                  +4 Deflection instead of Shield Bonus

                  Shield Other:
                  See Shield

                  Raise Dead:
                  2 Bloodstones*

                  Rez ??

                  Clairaudience/Clairvoyance:
                  Duration set to 10 min's

                  Zone of Revelation:
                  Not listed in wiki
                  Reveals Stealthed Chars

                  Warlock Notes:
                  Warlock Eldritch Doom no longer harms allies or self as per P&P
                  rules.
                  Flee the Scene no longer locks the player in place for 5 seconds as
                  per P&P (current desc says you cant take action until next turn)
                  Warlock retribution invisibility changed to match P&P rules. Now
                  Rounds / Level.

                  Summon Spells: (could use list of what it summons)

                  Sunbeam/Sunburst:
                  Instakill (reflex save negate) on Chars/NPC's flagged with sun
                  weakness

                  Detect Undead:
                  Details on changes?

                  Magic/Greater Magic Weapon:
                  Works on bows.

                  Nondetection:
                  Not listed
                  Counters Detect good/evil/undead/locate creature/ZOR (?)

                  Greater Restoration: 75gp gold cost

                  Any more custom spells not listed?

                  Well that was a mind numbing journey through all of the update announcments for the last 4 years, I would appreciate anyone filling in the blanks.

                  I would also appreciate corrections to mistakes and additions on/to my list.

                  Also anyone that feels confident about a spells effects can feel free to add it to the wiki themselves as well...I'm not going to be selfish here

                    Protection from Alignment does not make you immune to divination. The only counter to detect spells and abilities (that I personally am aware of) is Nondetection

                      Mage Armor non Improved is hour per level

                      Stone body is nullified if immune to movement speed reduction at the time of it being cast. casting freedom of movement after the slowing effects of stone body are in place will not dispell the stone body effects, however it also will not improve your speed.

                      Heal spell is still 150gp
