Darkvision with PM's has a tendency to disappear from their character sheet and mode bar. It will reappear when you level up, but it's likely to disappear again afterwards.

The darkvision bug is a NWN2 bug and the Sundevs can't do anything about it. My own darkvision doesn't disappear from my char sheet, but sometimes low light vision can cause it to have a bit of a hissy fit and I only get very stunted vision in dark areas.Lorlen Locke: "Amazing how the righteous commit acts of tyranny and terror almost as beautiful as our own under their banner of "good".
