Forgive me..its been a few years. I just made a new character and found it locked in a wooden room upon entering the server. There appear to be 2 trap doors that I can't manipulate..they look like they are there for asthetics. I'm wondering if this is a place characters go that are not allowed on the server? I will try logging in again as it seems the server went down while I was trying to sort this out. Any input or knowledge about this would be greatly appreciated!Tthanks!

I ended up making a new character and it also was locked in a room. This time I noticed a quick message that faded away. It appears the character may need approval or is not allowed. I will go more conventional on my character choices. the first one was half drow palidan..which I had a feeling may not work. The second one was also a palidan..i believe a half elf also but not a half drow......
Thanks for the help!

Using the same name caused the secound one to get stuck...due to the information retained in the DB from the first one which was due to Half-Drow...the Char Name is whats used as the primary identifier for DB entries..a one character difference will get around it"Half the lies they tell about me aren't true."

Two possible reasons:
Perhaps you made a cleric with the wrong domains - we enforce the correct ones here, and they can be looked up on our Wiki (under "Deities")
If you have made a locked race or class you will not be able to enter the game.
These races must be unlocked by a DM, which usually happens after you win a Role Player Award.
Please check out our Wiki on which classes and races are open for everybody
In both cases, I'm afraid you'll have to create a new character that's within these guidelines.
*edit* and yes, re-using the name of one such character may cause locking as well, so try to pick a different name.
