spells cost to cast?

But money for stoneskin is to cover the material component that it is supposed to take.

It already summons a Balor or Pit Fiend if you're epic level. That's why it's so expensive.

Thanks for opening my eyes Kaeldorn! I was going by the in-game spell descriptons....it seems that most of those are incorrect in displaying only Verbal or Verbal, Somantic as components. Nothing about Material components unless it's mentioned in the description itself. My mistake! Be glad for the current cost? You bet I am.

So...when can we actually find, and use, components in-game?

Out of curiousity, is there a comprehensive list of these spells around? Experimentation is fun, but for a spontaneous caster who is locked into spell selection forever, it would be useful to know which spells cost in advance.

Since we are bring this thread back... no Gate only summons a rather weak but pretty Horned Devil. Epic level do not change anything. So 500 gold cost does summon a nice RP piece and impresses your friends and enemies, but it's not so tough.
