If you're fighting and the guy run in a barn, go get him. If you're fighting and the guy runs from Argyle Keep to Sundren Gates? That's a different matter.
Yeah that was my interpretation of it; when someone autofollows you forty miles. Thats a different league unless they are like Sheverash (a god) himself or someone as equally vengeful

When the bad guys flee through world transitions, I roleplay summoning my paladin's special mount and running them down, trampling them into the earth, and then I tell everyone that I totally won. Then I slap my invisible horse on the ass, and it gallops off into the distance. Afterward, I send the other player a tell, commending them for being such a good sport about it, to which they reply, "Huh?"

      All in a day's work.

In seriousness, I've found that most players are pretty flexible with CvC rules. For awhile, it seemed like Ruby and I were going at it (yeah, going at it) three nights a week, regardless of who the winner of the last encounter was. Largely, players are mature enough not to grief and exploit. These CvC rules are in place for the few that just don't "get it" and get their jollies from actually ruining someone else's day.

Anyway, next time you run from me in PvP, remember that I have an amazing horse, and I'm telling everyone that I kicked your ass.
