Been getting a few tells and interesting conversations from various players about where the Legion can and cannot enforce their laws, especially concerning Legion PC's.
First off: Legion authority extends to the ENTIRE VALLEY (i.e. The whole Server). Everywhere. If a Legionnaire sees a crime committed, ANYWHERE, they can enforce the laws. The campfire by the Inn is NO exception. Sundren legion protects Sundren, not just its cities and civilized zones. Some people are trying to say they can commit crimes in front of legionnaires in the wild zones and get away with it. Sorry, no, it doesn't work that way. That would be like a vacationing police officer ignoring an obvious crime because it wasn't committed in his city. It doesn't work that way. That would be silly.
However, a lot of Sundren's laws do not apply outside of civilized zones and they say the direct exception IN those laws. For example: You may not wear a mask in a civilized zone, but outside that is perfectly fine. You may not bring large or dangerous animal companions in a civilized zone, but outside is likewise perfectly fine.
Outside of a civilized zone, a single Legionnaire is essentially on his own. He has no backup, except other Legionnaire PC's who might be nearby, or can be contacted. But he is NOT powerless. If a Legion PC calls you out at the campfire, he is on his own in enforcing the law, but he is perfectly entitled to do it. You can resist, and possibly defeat the Legionnaire, or escape, and there would be little more the Legionnaire could do, but you cannot say "You can't do anything to me out here." Yes he can. But out there, he is on his own in doing it.
Check out the laws. Remember that they apply to the valley as a whole, not just its cities and military encampments. Its just easier to do in those places.
And for clarification, a civilized zone is any area within the limits of a town, city, or military encampment. This does mean that the campfire by the Inn is outside those zones, but a Legion PC can still react to misdeeds he witnesses there.

Even cops don't go in there without worrying for themselves.
