  • Major Event Aftermath - Thank you players

I just wanted to thank players who participated in this massive event. I really enjoyed running the event and I hope people enjoyed playing in it. Also, thank you for the DMs who helped make it work with assistance, you guys really came through.

I know a great number of people were involved and were also looking for information from me. I just want you all to know, if I missed any tells/requests, it was not intentional as I was getting tells flooding like crazy. I'm sure a few fell through.

An important part of this event to note is that this was a major turning point for Sundren. This marks what we developers and DMs have been striving for since Sundren's inception. This being the push of the actual story of Sundren towards the future state of the world. From here on out, much of the world will start to change in ways it has not since it's inception. This marks the coming out of what we deem "Beta". Although development will always continue and changes will always be made, things are in a position we can actually make world modifications without a great deal of hassle on our parts.

I'm working on getting some factional information into each forum so people can understand where things stand and pertain to each faction. As always, feel free to make character requests or PM for specific questions based on what has happened during/after yesterday's events. There are many MANY more major events planned that will determine how things progress.

If anyone who participated failed to recieve a reward, maybe you had to go before the reward time or you might have simply been missed, feel free to make requests on this front as well.

I am so disappointed that I ended up getting on the server right when I heard everything was ended.

I was very tempted to write in the rumors section about how everything was ok in the Druid glade today. Not a thing happened.

Had to leave as it was was coming to a end (so I think)... Did the folks every get the chair to work? Were our comrades saved? ...

Oh and did not receive any XP or Red Blade faction rep points *smiles*

PS We could have used Andy there... Most attacks were fought in a mob fashion, though Mara did her best providing tactics.
Elandra: A former Red Blade, now roams the wilderness with the Lone wolf as her guide
Alexandra: Ever faithful (just shy of a Zealot)
Yodglum: May Kossuth's flame light your way and burn those in it!
Ash: Dusty old miner of still looking for the "mother load" on Exigo's stag

Shaving kittens: not an official sport, but fun just the same

I had Ursus there, but only a few minutes. Just kinda stood around and looked ominous while "guarding" Neffriel. No orders to help were given, so he just stood guard :P

Looks like it was a fun event. Wish I had made it in on the front, but was pretty much told no one wanted a Thayan around at the moment. Poor Ursus...dissed again for wearing black and red :P

I had to leave as well. I had worked 11 days straight and was exhausted. But Mara had a blast!!! But she left before any rewards.

Was epic, the most fun i've had playing neverwinter yet...thank the gods i found this server .
I must say the most fun bit for me was when Perdian, Jonothan, Secalia (?did i spell that right?) and Kharn cut their way thru a horde of undead and vampires at the front gates in a frantic rush to get back into the city, we made it with only minutes to spare....was very cinematic.
Pure awesomeness, thanks heaps to Mr Godbeast and all the other DM's, must have been a mission coordinating everything.

It was an excellent event. Thanks to the DM (QA? Phil?) that kept assaulting the prison with undead and shadows / vermin. Without you sentry duty would have been quite boring

and thanks to GBX for the misadventures with Myrkul's throne

On a side note, Melody did not get a legion faction boost

Sundance: "Well it's to late now."

                  Toons:
                  Mittens Whitepaw (Feral Druid),
                  Rose Thimblefoot (Simple Seamstress),
                  Melody Mourningsoul (Cursed Bard)
Katalina Zephyr (Guardian of the Grave)
Gabrielle Dumoine (the Duchess of Waterdeep... 'onestly...)

Agreed, I had a lot of fun. And it's quite a sight to see the server come out of beta after so long.
                    Characters:
Peridan Twilight, one-eyed dog of the Legion, deceased.
Daniel Nobody, adventurer and part time problem solver.

Did anyone else notice that 80-90% of all players were involved! What a turn out!

Elandra almost lost it at Peridan though. Well she started to and began yelling but will all that was going on then the nightly bounce... did not pursue it and when to bed... Probably would not be a good idea for an adept challenging the leadership skills of one further up the "food chain"... though was in her nature *smiles*

Not the place but kudo's to all!
