There was a huge patch today (400 megs, going to need to delete files soon haha) and cant find the patch notes anywhere (what's added, subtracted, changed?); so I was wondering if one of the developers could update us?

Have patience.

Without getting into too much detail, and thanks to work put in by GBX, pretty much every appearance .hak on the nwn vault worth having (hair, item appearance, heads, etc... ) is now in the module.

Is there an option for a manual download? i get to the 100 meg mark and i lose connection for some random reason.......I think its gnomes in my phone line
but i could be wrong......
