Oh, I guess a wiki or source book full of gods should be considered metagaming now? It's only metagaming if you apply information your character wouldn't know. Knowledge Religion/history is there for a reason, however.

What about an RP post that your toon went to the library to look up info, and the relevant background as to why you went looking for it? Would that be OK, or is that still semi-metagaming?

I would say,yes you could use the library as source of RP and knowledge,but submit your post to a DM for review first,because I am sure the wiki and Sundren Library are not the same info or the library would have an ovious lack of info than the wiki..

Snoop is also right too though,if you have the KOR or KOL skills to back up the wiki lore,then use it.

People who would like to have IC information about something don't have it IC... Unless of course they have enough knowledge... But I'm not sure I would trust players to make up the DC themselves. Have any guidelines?

I would absolutely love some Murder Mysteries or any other sort of Mystery that wasn't just a 'find bad guy and kill,' but actually involved some detective work.

I might be biased, considering the fact that Restard Pleans is a detective. But that's what would make it so much fun. I'm down for whatever.

Ursus is looking for a set of plans for light-weight armor (read mithral plate). He thinks he has a source for the materials and a crafter, but lacks the actual plans. He has been asking around the Enclave and, to a lesser extent, the Exigo. His hope is to be able to stop wearing a white chain shirt so he looks more "Thayan Knightish." :P

I'm not gunna be back for a few weeks (like 3-6) but i have a request for when i get back:

I would like an event where Umogian encounters a Yuan-ti (pureblood would be the most likely) so that he can be reminded of the reason he's in Sundren and not his homeland. (his bio is linked in my sig if you want to check it out )

Or there's this: Umogian has seen a few people walking about with dinosaur animal companions, but they've never been to Chult so he thinks that there may be a merchant trading in the sale (or as Umogian see's it, slavery) of dinosaurs from chult and he would like to find this slaver.

By ranks do they mean your adjusted skill, or points put into it, like tumbling needs points to give the AC bonus?
