The Confusion spell was indeed very effective. It definitely stalled many of the higher level warriors as well as deal some damage seeing how it was a crowd that was relatively close in together. However, Isiovien's desire for first blood made it so that she did not have as much support as she might have had - she was quickly singled out very early in the fighting and taken down. Had Isiovien waited for the melee to be joined, contributed and then fled with invisibility/mirror image, she might have been able to wait and contribute in the second wave.

As for invisibility, well, if that was the case then I do appologize. At that distance I had no way of knowing - you had other magical auras around you that concealed your *laugh* invisibility.

You drow need slave cannon fodder. Even with 23 drow elves down, that's still a pretty bad blow for drow houses whom traditionally have around 200 dark elves for big and powerful houses. The smaller drow houses often settle for 20 or so members ^_^;

Not that I'm saying GBX did stuff bad or anything - I just assume such a defeat was a smarting blow for your organisations, seeing the elves are typically high on talent but low in numbers.

My Drow house has 200,000. You got beef with that? Say it to me face.

Now then. It was only going to be a smaller number, but thanks to the AI and people not letting me setup before they throw fireballs <_< >_> I only got to kill a few of you with 3 waves (Which was supposed to only be 1). Now that I know copying and pasting creatures bugs the AI it won't go down like that again.

I was going to say... I wouldn't get giddy about beating back a exploratory assault that's probably toying with/feeling out the defenses of the locals...

These are Drow we're talking about; if any PC is talking IC like 'haha, we kicked their arses real good, we showed them!' they have NO idea what the Drow are about. These are the more warlike and vicious descendents of the Ilythirii that took over large parts of Faerun thousands of years before humans knew what magic was; if the Seldarine hadn't intervened, they would have taken over all of the Realms.

GBX, if people aren't properly scared, give the drow paralytic bolts with DC 18 or so and let them loose a hail of them, and take live prisoners! I'd fully expect the more powerful priestesses to be guarded by demons at some point as well...
