  • Advice for the New Player with high fatigue

This is for the new player I met just now in-game with the fatigue issue. I'd PM you, but your Gamespy ID isn't a forum ID. I hope you check the boards.

Resting in heavy armor is discouraged by the resting mechanics. It is currently possible, but incurs both temporary stat penalties and may currently INCREASE your fatigue as well. I am not sure about the fatigue increase, but this would be rather bad for you. I suggest checking this out by looking at your fatigue meter, and changing out of heavy armor before resting.

Crafting fatigue and resting-in-armour-fatigue are completely unrelated. Wearing armour while resting can't in any way affect your crafting fatigue level. However, the penalties on strength and dexterity do stack.

    How to avoid the penalties:
    - only rest in armour if you really can't help it, and try to avoid the need to rest out in the wild through use of healing kits, potions or spells
    - don't go over 50 points of crafting fatigue (people under 5th level are protected from this by having a hard cap at 50)

Useful potions/spells are remove disease and lesser restoration.
The only good thing about paladins on Sundren.
