  • Quick Diety Question

I asked a DM this question in a PM and was told he had never had anyone ask it before (I seem to be quite good at coming up with things no one has asked about...and getting thrown in jail for one of them ) and for me to post it here. So here goes

I noticed on the Sundren wiki that the Mulhorand dieties are listed but that they do not exist in game. Does this mean itis all right to use them in RP, but choose another diety that is in game for the mechanics (cleric domains and general worshipper requirements the game mechanics use)? Or are they just there for informational purposes and to be ignored in game?

Any other DMs or DEVs want to chime in on this?

Due to mechanical reasons of NWN2, I don't suggest doing this at all. FR allows worship of many entities that exist in source books that aren't in the diety list. In the past we allowed people to get away with a similar situation, but it ended up causing headaches down the line.

If you're going to be a cleric, please use the current deity list.

Bummer. Really like the Mulhorand dieties. Especially Anhur.

But, went with a simple elf cleric of Corellon for now.

      Thanks for the input.

I have a fighter in the red blades that worships Anhur. But again it's an RP thing and non-divine casters can get away with that. Also you would DEFINITELY need special permission to play a cleric of Anhur as all priests of Mulhorandi deities MUST be a direct descendant of that deity.
