    GBX is taking a day of rest...

    I'm getting stressed right now working on Sundren. Too many PMs from all over, attitudes from people who don't like limitations, people complaining how things work out or some such, people banned complaining they did nothing (I take screenshots before I ban), XP druggies trying to get crack, plus the pile of work besides that.

    There gets to be a point where it's just not fun to manage all this at once. The "thank yous" are buried under piles of "Screw yous". I setup polls to get opinions, I implement opinions, and I just hear an army of people screaming over it.

    So, today is my day off. If you see me playing IC, please don't ask me administrative stuff. There are other DMs besides me.

    *Passes the forum keys to other DMs*

    You guys are in charge for now. Lock up after closing.

        Asking for open public opinions like that, you're a brave man. I can understan the stress from all the workload.

        Give yourself a Summon Refreshing Drink II scroll and make an area with some shade. And enjoy your day off.

            GBX: I'm a level 20 programmer for sure in real life. I know more about CPU's, software, Windows, etc, than most people know about their own children.

                  Sheeeesh, people! Lighten up and cut this man some slack!!

                  GBX, I am sorry that people are giving you a hard time over the service you are providing to us all. This is undoubtedly why other servers do not ask the player base for their opinions - too many people confuse "giving their opinion" with "unmercifully badgering the admins with that opinion long after a decision is made because that decision wasn't exactly what they wanted". Some people tend to forget that this is not a PW built just for them and their enjoyment alone.

                  I think you are doing an amazing job and I hope you can continue to find enjoyment in what you are doing for us. Take as much time as you need to relax and enjoy the world that you have created (that goes for all of the admins/builders/DMs!) You deserve everyone?s thanks.

                    Don't worry, Godbeast. SFAP (Stress From Annoying Players) is a common syndrome in Dungeon Masters. Take a week or two off... You really, really deserve it.
