Well sure, I don't have a lot of things to do lately. So I have a lot of free time, and I'm sure I can bug you while you're playing about things.

Sure you want some help? That way you can keep playing and I can work on the areas too? We can trade off. Give me a chance to prove myself.

"...I'm sure I can bug you while you're playing about things..."

Getting on my IM is like trying not to have your hand bit off feeding meat to a tiger.

"Give me a chance to prove myself."

That you do through the application. Part of that is a ferocious trial of fire where I scrutinise some areas you've already done, tut a lot and very very likely tell you to come back in a year.

Up to you. You should PM Saulus your application.

        Hm. You're weird. ;P
You know there's a chance you might actually like what I can come up with?

Look on the bright side, someone who actually wants to try to help you get things done. I helped build Nwn1 modules too. People don't have bad things to say really. What should the application be? An area? Two areas? It doesn't give specifics.

And I like tigers too! /pet

A couple of interiors and an exterior is enough for me to guage a mapper's current skill-set. Professional experience and previous mod experience is always nice too (the former is not a requirement).

And NWN1 is not NWN2... at all. NWN2 exterior development is closer to stuff like UEd.

Interiors, blech.. I like outside stuff better. It's more appealing to build. Unless it's a cave, then it's fun too. Does a cave count as inside? Technically a cave counts as an inside. ;D

Typicaly dungeons will be interiors. Most shops, temples and other content that inspires RP is interiors.

Exteriors usually act as hubs. They place a much greater strain on mod-size and server resources than interiors, so we're very tight on where we use exteriors.

A mapper in NWN2 can expect 75% of the areas needed (probably more) to be interiors.

Areas for construction are assigned to you by designers. Only when you've really proven yourself can you indulge yourself a little in world-design. And right now we have a lot of focus on optimisation, revision and refinement of current content. Which means mappers find themselves working on existing areas, rather than making new ones.

This work isn't always glamorous, but you do it because Sundren is worth it.

I like revision. ;D Spicing things up is what I do best.

I just simply like exterior better for its aesthetics. /shrug

Wait until you see some of Sundren's interiors. You may rethink that
