Several amongst the DM staff have noticed an increasing amount of OOC behaviour and chatter on the server recently. I'd just like to remind everyone that there are NO OOC areas in Sundren and yes! This includes the FeN! OOC chatter might seem perfectly innocent, and everyone does it from time to time, but when it gets to the point where more of your conversation starts with /// or (( or OOC: then there's a problem.

Exp penalties will be implemented for excessive OOC chatter or OOC sparring between characters, whether you're caught while the DM is on the DM client, or if you're seen by a DM on the player client. It breaks immersion, and is extremely distracting to anyone nearby who is trying to remain IC.

Tells are there for a reason. OOC in party chat is fine also as long as there is no DM online at the time, otherwise it spams up the DM channel. If you have something to say that isn't IC, then make sure that other people don't have to see it please, and show a little respect to your fellow players.

We're not monsters on this either We know OOC chatter happens. We only post when we feel it has gotten out of control.
