Hey folks, just a heads up to you all in case I'm dealing with you in-game and I suddenly disappear and don't come back.

A Toddler induced silverware incident had fried my laptop yesterday, and so far I now can get it to run without randomly shutting off within 1d2 minutes. However it is acting funny, and I fear it's time of reckoning is near.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't die anytime soon, but as I said if I mysteriously disappear in the middle of something with you and don't come back within 5 to 10min, whatever was being run would have to be put on hold.

Well folks, it looks like I'll be MIA until I completely gut out and reinstall Nwn. I'm having crashes now every 3-5 mins when in-game. Cross your fingers that this will be the fix, and not the damn computer.

Hmm.. that sucks that you're having that problem, QA. I wish I could help. I'd check the motherboard and make sure you're getting an output of at least 1.21 jiggawatts!

So, I Uninstalled & Reinstalled everything, hitting a few roadbumps but driving over most of them. However. I need to know...

Many of you I know have had to uninstall & reinstall NWN2 before. Have any of you run into the problem where it won't update for you? I'm getting this lovely message, and am currently stuck with the watered down basic nwn.

If the auto updater isn't working, maybe try manually installing the patch? Try here:

I was looking at that, and trying to find other alternatives. My goal is to try find something less messy. However, I will have to give it a try if nothing else seems to work.

Yeah, There is one patch that is so large it always would time out for me. I had to use the manual patcher too.

WEll, I did have to go slog through the manual update. I took every update through here with the exception for this one: nwn2_pcx2_english_from1211549_to1221586.zip, which apparently cannot be found. Everything else was done.

I now have version 1.20.1541... and it's still not enough. Poor Sundren is still in the Gray.

Logging in game, it does ask me to upgrade, but it takes me back to the same update screen, and thus the error.

I feel your pain. Seems my video card for my computer has taken a nosedive, which means that I gotta find another comp to play all my games on.
