  • Evil on the forums

While I like to think I do a rather good job of playing my evil PC's in game, the one thing I've never been able to get into is bringing some of that evil to the forums. My biggest concern is giving enough storyline and character development, without spoiling what is happening in game.

While heroes of the realm have bards spreading word of their deeds throughout the land, evil characters must by necessity skulk in shadows and silence anyone that spreads word of their schemes.

So in short, how much is too much for forum posts? Specifically as evil characters on occasion work together, so other players and their privacy wishes must be taken into account when posting the latest conspiracies and corruptions.

Personaly? I would recomend adding elaborate stories on the forums that are things already discovered by other PC's, are facets of the character that will likely never come to pass in the sundren world, or just good ol fluff day to day stuff. You can spread evil and have a nice dark feel for your character without droping any bombs!

I think I do a fair job with that.

I suppose how open you want it all depends on you. I like to think our community here wont track you down ig for posting 'death to the legion.' Unless of course you signed your name in the post.

After the game, the king and the pawn go into the same box.

Yeah I would; the community here is pretty responsible!

I remember on another server I posted my IG crimes on a roleplay post and one Paladin of Mystra decided to use the this OOC knowledge to try and hunt me down. Good thing its hard to pin a Dervish down
