  • About aligments

    How likely and possible are aligment shifts other than from quests which give that -1 to aligment? Do gm:s allow aligment shifts from events in requests or anything the like?

    Thinking of a fallen paladin... would be annoying to find enough quests to drop from good to evil with those -1 adjustments :P

    Go out and kill someone that did deserve to die, and was wanted by the law and execute them when they pleaded for mercy... sounds like a big evil shift to me that the Dm's would be happy to reward you with!

    * runs and hides *
    Bree - Bookkeeper and diplomat of Exigo.

    Becky Dragonhin - Sword of the Loyal Fury, Knight of the Triad... the only Good hin in Sundren???
    Cybil Gelley (Retired)
    Perry Turnipfodder - aspiring talent, happy chronicler.

      We try not to oblidge folks who "plan" to fail. Realistically, a person would never plan this out! If it's part of a fun storyline that a DM is running, that's different. But we rarely allow for allignment shifts that are requested. Far too often it's to do a munchkin build that was unaccessable due to alignment restrictions.

      That being said, if you want to document a good story / plan and post it under Character Requests, we can take a look

        Yeah, its a character whom I've played before, consists of a paladin fallen from grace, not exactly a munchkin build as my plan would be far more powerful if it was based on lets say a fighter or maybe a cleric.

        That being said, I understood this means that it IS possible? Which means I'll get to playing one out eventually once I have the time

          Yep, but be careful. Fallen paladins (and all divine classes on Sundren) lose powers when they fall. For example, that nice Charisma bonus to saves gets disabled when you fall from grace.

            Aye, not after them bonuses, just the consept of the character. More important to me than the actual usefulness (my wizard is diviner for example :P)

            You're quite paranoid arent you? :3
