  • Base Class Wiki

Thank you all for tolerating Testy McTester when you saw him... I was updating the base class wiki's for their skills, mostly because I kept going... who gets what now? Does this class get this? Gah... make a char and find out... nope, ok, so maybe this one?

I hope it helps. I can't do the older PrC's because Testy is only 3rd level... well, was before he got deleted 3 times (can't be a paladin after basing in Barbarian and all). Anyhoo... everything but Swashbuckler is done... Samuri has it listed in the class description, so I didn't bother with that one at all.

    CHEERS!

ps. If I made a mistake, or it looks funny - like Monks get perform??? feel free to change it or whatever...

pps. I didn't do the swashbuckler because I'm not sure how, if I can, create a page for them.
Bree - Bookkeeper and diplomat of Exigo.

Becky Dragonhin - Sword of the Loyal Fury, Knight of the Triad... the only Good hin in Sundren???
    Cybil Gelley (Retired)
Perry Turnipfodder - aspiring talent, happy chronicler.

Made a swashbuckler page. It still needs to be fixed up to be in the same format as the rest of them, so feel free to

As for perform, it's a class skill for monks as per the official PnP rules. Might not make much sense at first thought, but once you consider that Perform is divided in sub-skills like knowledge and encompasses quite a lot, among which the following: vocal/singing, oratory/speeching, drums, string-, wind instruments, dancing, acrobatics and more.

The disciplines that are trained in monasteries are often broader than solely the focus of body and mind for purposes of straight combat. If a monastic order is religious, there is a good chance they regularly practice singing in worship and to clear the mind (one could argue clerics should then get this too, but clerics are by D&D definition much more militant than your regular priests). Their perfection of martial arts training also uses graceful motion and, as the name implies, can very much be used as an art to entertain much like we see today. Monks are stern in adherence to the rules of their order, but that does not mean they are hermits. They can mingle and share some of what they learned with others, perhaps even for 'recruitment' .

EDIT: Anyhoo, appreciate the work. BUT! You gave the sorcerer the bard skill list! Rogue list was also off. Fixed now

EDIT2: Favored Soul was also off. Actually.. most were wrong (almost all classes getting way too many skills). Don't know if anyone messed with it after you did, but I'm just going to check and redo each of them to make sure there are no errors.

I must have forgot to push save a second time with the sorcerers.... oops . I would have figured acrobatics would be under Tumble, but, whatever... hee hee.... silly monks. I'll do the Buckler of the Swash later on.

Thanks for doing the swashbuckler as well. There was a bug, which will be fixed the next patch.

This is just their Class Skills or is it their Class Skills plus their Cross Class skills?

Either way you put a lot of time in on it. Great work.

Class skills only. Cross class, everyone would get nearly every skill

Keep in mind folks anyone can apply to contribute to the wiki -- it is created from the hard work of staff and players and will continue to be an important resource to new users interested in playing Sundren.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Anyone who significantly contributes to the Wiki can get a treat from the DM team.
This doesn't have to just be class details. There are tons of things that need documentation--even expanded lore.

Fez, send me a PM as a reminder. Thanks--

I think they made their perform:wushu checks

EDIT: I've made some changes to the base class class skills on the wiki, to reflect what will be available the next patch. It's not true to PnP, but the intention is to allow some more flexibility, still staying within what makes sense for each class to learn.
