Characters Portrait

I know its secondary but... there are several portrait packs in the Vault, some of then really nice.

This feature is easy to implement ((u just have to save the pack into the proper folder)), and fun to see.
the Devs / DMs or players could choose some packs ((that are not heavy sized also)) and point it for us to download or put into a new update.
Once in the folder, you just have to click on your PCs portrait and choose which you like most.

what do you all think ? Im tired of looking to Cirions ugly face ^^

Players can already do this on their own, we have no plans to make any mandatory portrait updates as it simply takes up more space with our already large download.

but Like, there are thousands of portrait packs, if I choose one, the other players will have to DL the same one as I did to see my portrait =o

Couldnt we spare one space on the forum, like :
Portrais used: x, y and z

so the players can DL right and specific portraits on their own , without consuming space of the sundren update

Already a thread like this with someone who maintained portraits Sundren players used, I don't have a problem with someone reusing that. But there will never be any formal sort of setup for portraits from Sundren -- this is up to the players to download to be able to view if they want to see it.

It's only the first post that really matters. If you have a location to share a zip-file and want to create a new one to keep it updated, feel free. Only if you're serious about it though, don't need a dozen of these threads only to have it die again to get a thirteenth

Hahhaha jokes aside. I think it's a good idea if we keep it updated for the players to download it.

Kael, Id manage to put the portraits together yes, but I dont have a place to store then, I dont know much of these things too =o

you mean like... a rapidshare acc where I could put those right ? can anyone help with that ?

Personally, I use www.filefront.com if I need to host something. It's a very simple, user friendly site if you can turn a blind eye to the stuff you don't need on the front page (which is everything except the top and top left of the screen )

Just click register on the upper right of your screen, and the steps from there on should speak for themselves.

Lane said to put on the general discussion, can you put it "sticky" ? Ill post it tonight, as take responsability to update then, also will use Filefront. Just have to get used to this so be patient XD

I have six files: Raven, Peligir, Yashia, Samantha blake01 ,Samantha blake02 and Cazen

Do you think its better to put then together as a "Sundren Portrait 0.1" or individual files ?

General Discussion would suffice, I'd say.

Just one thing: don't stick any of those NWN portrait packages in it, it'll quickly grow far too large and have too many images that aren't really used. Just start with what is there already and take submissions from people as was done in the other threads, that works best
