I just thought I'd ask before I got too far into this... what's the Developers policy on the player base creating content for Sundren? I'm not talking like armor models or anything graphical like that. I mean like adding all the spells left out from PnP and things like that?

Are you guys (Devs) open to the idea of us (players) creating content to help out? I don't mean using overrides or anything of the sort. I more mean we create the content and send it to you, so you can approve and possibly add if, and only if, it's something you would want in Sundren and are satisfied with it's functionality.

I'm not trying to be pushy or anything, but I can no longer play and I'd like to help out the little bit I can.

We don't accept submissions (especially for scripting) from outside parties... it just ends up being more work for us because we cannot always gaurantee #1) it works properly #2) It is designed properly

I know the server policy is none outside of staff but I have wondered about this as well if perhaps you an post the code and let staff play with it?

Myself I would like to just see other peoples coding (I am a nerd).

I had guessed that was the policy but I thought I'd check. While it would be awesome to help out Sundren by joining on full time, I just don't have the time to do anything full time and anything I did to help would be just a little here and there. Too bad though...

Perhaps we could talk them into having a scripting/content section added to the forums so we could throw scripting ideas and code around. At the very least, they could pull ideas and maybe some code out of it... Just an idea
