  • Clubs & Finesse?

I dont know if this is something you can fix but last time I checked clubs were finessable; I logged on with my druid character, grabbed his club for much brambling action and realised I was only getting my strength bonus to hit instead of my dex bonus!

Is this an obsidian bug or did clubs change to non finesse in 3.5E?

    Isn't a club a medium-sized weapon?

Weapon Finesse only works for light weapons, which the club is not.

There's a simple solution: grab a light mace instead!

Only problem might be to find a wooden one in Sundren if you are a stubborn druid and all that.

The only weapons a pure druid can use Weapon Finesses on are daggers and sickles.

I was going to ask 'why take weapon finesse as a pure druid?', but then I realized it works on creature weapons too.

It's supposed to work on 'all creature weapons' as they are unarmed attacks
Think that has been working since some patch in NWN1.

Im not going for a powergamery build, I just like dexterous druids!

besides in 3E im sure club was finessable!

A character with this feat is adept at using light weapons subtly and effectively, allowing him to make melee attack rolls with his dexterity modifier instead of strength (if his dexterity is higher than his strength).

Note: This feat is automatic when using any of the following weapons: dagger, handaxe, kama, kukri, light hammer, mace, rapier, short sword, sickle, whip, and unarmed strike.

Of course you could make an elf druid and get rapier proficiency or just take martial weapon proficiency. Either of those would also give you longbow proficiency as well.
