  • Healing Kits in the Grove

I know the Temple of helm is supposed to be the major place for all healing needs in Sundren, but do you think its possible to add at least basic healing kits to the Druid's Grove? They do sell the potions after all, why not kits.

I would agree - I'm sure druids would also have basic healing supplies available. Also, IMO it would make more sense for one of the Druids to have the shop, rather than the Keeper.
Annaleen Wiltenholm-There's always something to smile about.
Chani Kalera- Intimidation is the new diplomacy. *looms*
Eleanor "Bloody Elle" Lark - Why is the rum always gone?
Yolanda Brown - If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But unless life also gives you water and sugar, your lemonade is going to suck.
    Astrid Hammerhand - Och!

Untill then Im buying my dozens of heal kits from the Temple of Helm. I use lots of heal kits cause they strangely dont provoke an attack of opportunity! :s

Healing kits shouldn't even be allowed in combat, but they are. And apparently the bandages are soaked in cure ____ wounds potions, because they stop bleeding and bind bones in seconds. The downside being that they weigh a ton. So if anyone would have these miracle healing kits, it would be the druids.

And I agree with Verrath. In fact I think the whole shop should be moved to another NPC. You would think that those kinds of mundane tasks would be delegated.

The Combat medic PRC (One that I find intriguing myself) would be pretty useless if you couldn't use healing kits in combat! That aside I'd like to see the druids get some being a ranger myself: when I go into combat you can basically just drop a Extended Bull's on me and garantee 90% of my weight is in heal kits because I like the idea of self applied healing that is skill based rather than drinking potions in combat that normally leave me dead at the end of the encounter through AoOs!
I dont think its a priority really since we 'can' get heal kits elsewhere, but some of us (not me personally) are part of anti establishment groups that wouldn't go near a city unless they were planning on bringing the walls down!

I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that combat medics are worthless without healing kits. First, the PrC was taken from PnP, where heal checks only stabilize a character with negative hit points. Second, they only get +5 to heal checks, which isn't really that much. Third, the class focuses mainly on spells, healing kicker and mass heal being the most powerful features. You could take away the +5 heal bonus and it would still be a very appealing PrC.

Why get the mobility feat for moving around healing in combat if they shouldn't be used in Combat then? Hmmm, I can see why now since you can still cast healing spells in combat as well but surely a circumstancial concetration boost would be mode adequete! Im arguing against cannon now and such is treason..

Nevermind, you've made a good point and I will not dispute it further if only to keep the peace, im a fan honestly
