Oh, right! Yes, I think that's the idea anyway, that it's an NWN2 bug, no matter if it's on an item or a placable. I think we're on the same page.

Can you confirm this occurs on a separate module other than Sundren?
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Damn, I have that belt xD
Hope this gets fixed soon, I'm surprised such a major bug hasn't been fixed already :S
Along with that annoying bard spell level bug! Though maybe that's because no-one bothers playing a low-cha bard... xD

define low cha? does 15 count?

I dunno it took a long time to fix that sorcer/bard bug that made them invalid when you leveled up removing an adding spells. Atleast I hope that is fixed now.

Belt should stay. By the time staff removes them all it will be fixed then folks will want them. Might as well leave them in and wait for the fix.

Slightly off-topic, but there's a bug with bards (don't know about sorcs), where you can only cast spells of level up to and equal to your charisma modifier, rather than your charisma score - 10, which is what it's meant to be (I think).

In the case of the belt, I agree, it should stay. Eventually (possibly in the next expansion), Obsidian will fix this bug; it's far too major to leave it alone. It's probably a lot less hassle for everyone if it's just left as it is.

There is no bard spell level bug... read your bug report, I explained it there. Has something to do with '0 spells per day' and bonus spells depending on your casting attribute

Can you confirm this occurs on a separate module other than Sundren?
My test was done on a separate module, although it did use all the Sundren Haks. Haven't tried it in an entirely neutral environment.

Want me to take pot shots at you Durin?

*edit* The spell level bug is something to do with high casting attributes affecting max caster level I think since bards if they have a high casting attribute can qualify for higher level spells before they acrue the required level or something.

i.e. a bard with 15 charisma can still cast 5th level so nothing is broken! But I believe if you have a high enough caster attribute you can qualify for the next level of spells and bonus spells one level earlier than is dictated in the manual :S Correct me if Im wrong!

This bug is already mentioned and confirmed on the obsidian forum and it have been there for several months now. Magic resistance works fine but physical is broken. I always assumed this was a known bug. I have carried that broken belt with me in hopes obsidian will fix it in the future for almost as long as i have been playing on Sundern :P

Yea its hard to believe that something like adamantium armor doesn't work when its suppose to be the "best" in game. And its been this way for so long =/

not too sure about that. Awhile ago I was tinkering with a mod "battle of the builds".

A few builds wore adamintine armor and when using an Invsible blades damage on attacks I saw damage 0, for 3 rounds.

meaning six points of damage is being absorbed by something.

I think the issue here is damage resistance against specific types of damage (slashing, piercing, bludgeoning), not the universal damage resistance given by most spells and armor.
