  • Delay on Relocking Doors

I love the new doors in Spittlefist caves. But, I've found a few times where I pick the lock / break down the door, go through, and find it immediately locked again to my dismay, trapping me.

Would it be possible, or desirable, to put a 5 minute delay on the relocking? This would help with the suspension of disbelief, and probably save a few lives too.

I agree with this, the idea of the locking doors is awesome but currently they relock really fast. I took a party of 5 in the caves and only the first 3 made it through the door before it closed and locked behind us. Luckily we opened it via rogue so he just opened it again but if not for that ...

I wouldn't even say it needs to be a 5 minute delay even like a 2 min delay. Currently it's gotta be set to like 20 secs or so.

I'm for changing this also. It can be particularly annoying when you bash open a door over a long time, some goblin is blocking the way in and you attack it a couple of times without killing it, having no chance to pass. Only to have the door close and lock up right in front of you again.

While it might be more work, why not have a different script entirely, one that waits till there are no players in the area anymore before the doors relock?

I'll let you all in on a little secret. in less then 24 hours from now, school is back in session. Saulus and I are both going to be slammed with school.

No one else on the staff has access to the module since LH is gone. (no one with the knowledge to fix the systems that is)

On Saturday morning, we also hit a major bug in the toolset, that has crippled our ability to change the module.

What am I saying? Until Saulus gets a LOT of free time to correct the bug, THIS IS SUNDREN. If there's a bug, its going to be there for a while.

Keep sending in suggestions, but realize, we're not ignoring you, we don't have the capacity to take them at this time.

I hope thie server is far along enough to keep your attention, cause its about as good as it gets for a while.

By that, he means we're all doomed. Fortunately, I like doom.
