I have a Favored Soul of Jergal, Mortarion, who I would like to have a perk given to him by his diety, and I was wondering if its approvable or still too 'meta-gamey' as Veront says.
I was going to give him the ability to use 'Deathscrying' as I call it, where his eyes glow for a moment as he looks at someone, and in that time he can tell what someone's full name is and when they will die, but not how or where. The way I was planning on making it believable and non-meta-gamey was that he can't tell people when they die, because that would be betraying Jergal's trust. I thought it would make sense for him to have this ability because of how Jergal is the scribe for Kelemvor and he writes down peoples' names in the dead books and all that stuff.
I dunno what you all will think, but I posted it here and not the help section because I wanted other players' opinions on it. I talked to Cirion already IG and he didn't think I'd need to get it approved, but I decided to as a safety measure.
Cheers,
Aratil
